Making Queer History has a vague title because it has a rather vague purpose. We are not alone in our aim to tell the queer community’s history. What defines us is our focus not only on the past, but toward the future.
Of course, we have to kick things off with the Making Queer History shop where you can find prints, clothes, clocks, rugs—you name it! You can also find our 2022 calendar here starting in December.

Their selection of crop tops are super fun—and size-inclusive!
Their facemasks come in neat patterns and clear lip-reading windows!
Their stickers are high quality, but the queercrip sticker is my fave.

gc2b is a trans-owned company based in Maryland. gc2b binders were the first garments designed and patented specifically for gender-affirming chest binding.
www.gc2b.co
This collection is full of beautiful designs that support a great cause.
I love binders that are meant to be shown off rather than hidden.
Gotta love a cozy hoodie with a great message.
GRRRL Spells, run by En Tze, is a Toronto-based horror and occult inspired queer and feminist apparel & art brand, combining riot grrrl attitude with dark imagery and the gay agenda.

You can always use another print, and "Gay Disaster" is a winner.
They offer a variety of stunning pins, but "I Am Valid" is an absolute fave.
They only make one pair of socks, but they're the best pair you'll ever find.
Beefcake Swimwear is a queer-owned Portland-based company offering 1920s-style swimsuits for a wide range of gender expressions, ages, and body types.

A classic, subtle design that says “I’m gay and I love retro style.”
This design makes a 20s suit feel like a rockabilly must-have. Retro on retro.
You can't go wrong with this classic suit—it looks good on everyone!
Bowtie Behavior was founded with the intent to create pieces that are bold and flavorful; pieces that outfits are built around. All pieces are handmade with high quality fabrics.
www.bowtiebehavior.com
Their bold selection really nails their goal of offering bowties that you can base your outfit around, rather than vice versa. My favorite design is their new Garden Party set featuring a matching bowtie and pocket square.
“#welovecolor is more than just a motto, it is the way I live...My hope is that my yarn can light a little fire in your soul when you run across that special skein. Fully Spun yarn is hand-dyed as roving, then spun to create a marled yarn in which every strand has multiple colors. Every finished object shows off color in striped gradients large and small.”
www.fullyspun.com
Fully Spun has a a stunning and vast collection of yarns, but we’d be remiss not to mention their Pride Collection—a collection of colorways inspired by pride flags.
